What You Should Know About Dog Food Allergies
Many people may not know, but dog food allergies occur more frequently than expected. Such allergies can case problems on the skin and internal organs like the digestive system. Such allergies often can occur due to their dogs eating the same food over a long period of time. Statistics show that 70% of dog food allergies happen when dogs have consumed a certain type of food for over 2 years.

One of the first thing you can do if you suspect dog food allergies is to remove certain food that you have feeding your pooch. Change it with a new staple of food and see if it helps. Then slowly put back the usual food diet and look out for signs of allergies to determine the triggers for your dog’s problem. Follow this simple process for about a month to ensure reliability in the results. If your dog is of these breeds, they are more prone to food allergies. They are bulldogs, labrador retrievers, golden retrievers, schnauzers and terriers.
